Biblical Definitions
Schisms are something that God hates (Proverbs 6:16-19). Schisms are something that Jesus prayed that the disciples would not have (John 17:11). Schisms are something that St. Paul gave great effort towards avoiding (Acts 24:16). Schisms are something that must not exist in the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:25).
